My life as a sports referee has been unique, to say the least. This philosophy has treated me well as I have conducted myself on and off the field and court and mat over time. I also have a core interest in sports and have always been driven to understand the detailed nuances of the rules of the game.
Because I do actually study sports rules in my own time, simply because I am interested, I have been able to stand out as a referee and this has helped me to gain some of my remote gigs. For example, because I have some experience in wrestling and have also become a thought leader in the rules of engagement for a wrestling tournament, the federation in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area gave me a call to come and be a referee in their tournament.
It gives me great pleasure to be able to serve athletes and those who are involved in the sporting community. By providing my expertise and experience, I am able to continue the tradition of good sportsmanship and athletic achievement.
Of course, these engagements are incredibly exhausting for me as well. Despite the fact that the athletes are the ones who are really doing the hard work, being hyper-vigilant and active alongside of them can also take its toll, so it’s nice to have my short term furnished rentals in Raleigh and Durham from Peak Suites LLC.
