Opening my third coffeehouse out of Northern Kentucky has been a truly rewarding experience so far, and I have to thank Valley View Furnished Condos for helping to make it a reality. My corporate housing in Northern Kentucky that I have been living in while setting up shop has been the perfect place for me to rest my head at night and to wake up to start my day.
I remember setting up my first coffee shop like it was yesterday, and all of those wonderful emotions come flooding back to me whatever I think about those days. There were so many exciting and new activities happening with a flourish all around me, especially as we were putting together the aesthetic for the shop as well as getting some of the fundamentals and logistics down.
Of course it wasn’t all fine and dandy, there were many challenges that we needed to overcome especially in supply chain and sourcing. But we were able to navigate these waters because we were dedicated to the mission and wanted to make our dream a reality.
Considering all of the success from the first shop, we were running on a high when we decided to open up the second coffeehouse. Surprisingly, the second location was actually a lot easier to set up and we had anticipated.
What we had thought would be somewhat of a repeat in the challenges we faced from setting up the first shop, did not actually materialize as we opened up the second. I suppose we learned something after all and were able to open up this next location quite smoothly and get it running well very quickly.
Now, moving onto our third shop, we are cautiously optimistic, and setting up all of the proper guidelines to ensure success. This has meant a partnership with the Valley View Furnished Condos and living in our own corporate housing in Northern Kentucky in Northern Kentucky while we ensure preparations.
So far, things definitely have been moving well, and the challenges that would have otherwise derailed us in our first shop have been much easier to navigate this time around. We have continued to learn and grow in so many great ways, so I am very confident in our ability to ensure this current location is profitable.
