I was in desperate need of short term furnished housing in Atlanta while I was away at school. I was living in a shared two-bedroom apartment at the time, and we began to have all sorts of problems with the place.
It started out with a leak from the dishwasher, which turned out to flood the entire kitchen floor. The leaks continued as time passed, even after mentioning it to the landlord.
My roommate and I tried cleaning it at the time, but we could only do so much. Then, we started to have more problems. As many might know living in Atlanta GA summers get quite hot and humid.
As our places didn’t have AC or any natural breeze, there began this smell in our place. As much as we tried to clean the water spill. Some of it must’ve seeped into the carpet, causing it to smell rotten.
We then began to have rodents that wanted to stop by in our pantry and eat through food that we had purchased.
The combination of these issues is what led up to us leaving our place and moving into short term furnished housing in Atlanta. While we were both in school, we needed something a little more reliable for the time being.
We weren’t able to do this whole “fixing the apartment” stuff on the weekends. As we had to study and do other stuff to fill our time. At the time, we had friends living in short term furnished housing in Atlanta and they always invited us over.
